Glen Long, Regional Director of Waste Connections-Mammoth Disposal presents a $12,000 check to Gardiner Miller, Mammoth Hospital Foundation Manager for the exclusive use of Rhiannon’s Kids, a fund managed by the hospital. Rhiannon’s Kids was established in 2013 by Amanda and Gabe Taylor, pictured with son, Finley, following the passing of their daughter, Rhiannon.

Rhiannon was born at Mammoth Hospital with numerous mortal health issues requiring her to be flown to Reno for newborn intensive care. Rhiannon’s Kids was established to help families with the extra costs incurred when a child needs to be taken out of the local area for health care. Joining the group is Volunteer Eastern Sierra (VES) members Jes Schwartzkopf and Kathy Copeland. VES was instrumental in putting Glen, who is passionate about supporting children through charitable giving, in touch with Rhiannon’s Kids. Thank you Mammoth Disposal for this tremendously generous gift!
